From infants to big kids – and their adults, too! – Shalom Orlando has enrichment programs to engage them all. There are options to fit a variety of schedules, interests, and age ranges, and JCC members or Shayna's Village members can save on every one! Afternoon Enrichment – Mondays (no class 1/19, 2/16)
Yoga for Kids
1:00-1:45 p.m.
Give your child the tools they need to live a healthy, happy life with mindful yoga. Through stretch and strength exercise, simple meditation practice and mindfulness training, children learn balance on and off their mats. Every class includes movement sequences woven together with classroom themes like gratitude and integrity, along with breathing and yoga exercises that all children can enjoy.
Simcha Snackers
1:00-1:45 p.m. and 2:00-2:45 p.m.
Ignite your child’s passion for cooking and their connection to Jewish culture with our immersive, hand-on kids cooking class. Your young chefs will gain practical skills such as measuring, proper use of kitchen utensils, and critical safety practices, that will serve them for a lifetime.
Dungeons and Dragons
4:00-5:30 p.m.
Unleash your inner wizard, knight, rogue, or ranger as we dive into thrilling Dungeons & Dragons quests in this exciting 1½-hour club! Players will work together to solve mysteries, battle mythical creatures, and explore imaginative worlds crafted by their Dungeon Master. This club encourages creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and storytelling?all while having a ton of fun. Whether you’re brand new to D&D or an experienced adventurer, epic journeys await! Open to ages 5-14. No class 1/19, 2/16 and 4/6.
Afternoon Enrichment – Tuesdays
Keyboard Capers
1:00-1:45 p.m.
In this class, the children will learn beginning keyboard skills in a fun and engaging way. Children will practice key locations, finger placement, and simple typing tasks like their name. Lessons often include colorful visuals and interactive games to build motor skills and familiarity through play. All keyboards will be provided.
Soccer Skills
1:00-1:45 p.m. and 2:00-2:45 p.m.
Beginner soccer players (ages 3-5 years old) will get an introduction to the fundamentals of soccer, build social skills, and improve self-confidence under the instruction of a trained UpField Soccer teacher.
Splash Squad –Group Swim
1:00-1:45 p.m. and 2:00-2:45 p.m.
These small group swim lessons are great for children (ages 3-5) who already have a foundation in swimming and want to gain confidence and a more advanced skillset in the water. These group lessons are structured the same as private lessons, with the children benefiting from observing and learning alongside their peers. Games and free swim time are incorporated into each lesson.
Pitch Perfect Jr.
2:00-2:45 p.m.
Get ready to sing, giggle, and shine! Pitch Perfect Jr. lets little superstars match their pitch to fun songs they already love. With a kid-friendly microphone in hand, children learn to sing their favorite tunes while exploring rhythm, melody, and confidence. Perfect for preschoolers who can’t stop humming. This playful singing adventure turns every moment into a mini concert!
Junior Tennis Development
2:00-2:45 p.m. and 3:00-3:45 p.m.
Revolution Academy's Junior Tennis Program helps children (ages 3-5) build proper technique, movement, and hand-eye coordination while developing a love for the game. Young athletes play with slower, larger red balls on a 36-foot court using smaller racquets perfect for learning the basics and gaining confidence.
Cheer with UKnight
3:00-3:45 p.m. and 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Cheerleading blends stunting, tumbling, jumps, and dance to build strength, confidence, and teamwork. In our upbeat enrichment classes, athletes learn fundamental skills in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will develop coordination, flexibility, and performance techniques while gaining a strong foundation in the basics of cheer. Perfect for beginners and those eager to shine a little brighter! No class on 4/7 for 4:00 session.
Chess - K3 & K4

Introduce young minds to to the world of chess in a fun, interactive, and age-appropriate way! This class focuses on critical thinking, problem-solving and concentration skills through playful activities and engaging instruction for K3 and K4 students.

Soccer with Brooke House

Join the Brooke House Academy Coach after school for the latest and greatest soccer skills. This class is great for anyone ages 5-11. No class 4/7.
Afternoon Enrichment – Wednesdays
Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle/Children Around the World
1:15-2:45 p.m.
During the first eight weeks, children (ages 3-5) will explore the three Rs –Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle – through fun, hands-on activities. They’ll discover how small actions can make a big difference for the environment while enjoying games, songs, and creative projects. This engaging approach helps children understand sustainability in a way that’s playful and meaningful. The remaining eight weeks of class will introduce children to cultures from around the globe through stories, music, and simple cooking activities. We celebrate what makes us alike while exploring traditions in a fun, hands-on way.

Storybook Art
1:00-1:45 p.m. and 2:00-2:45 p.m.
A fun and creative experience where stories come to life through art! Each class begins with an engaging story time followed by hands-on art activities inspired by the book. This class helps children (ages 3-5) build early literacy skills, develop creativity, and improve fine motor coordination in a safe and encouraging environment. No class 4/1.
Beginner Karate K-4
3:00-3:45 p.m.
Through Seido karate classes, your child will gain balance, coordination, flexibility and strength. Over time you will see a new sense of confidence, self-discipline and focus emerging in your child. Children are encouraged to try their best to meet the challenges they may face in this class. Classes are taught by 6th degree black belt Shihan Gil Alstein. No class 4/1.

Participants will practice the fundamentals of the game, including serving, passing, setting, and hitting, while also learning teamwork and sportsmanship. Sessions include drills, skill-building activities, and game play to help players gain confidence and enjoy the sport. All skill levels are welcome.
Beginning Dance

This engaging class introduces dancers to multiple styles, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, and cultural dances from around the world. Students build strong technique, musicality, coordination, and confidence while exploring rhythm, storytelling, and self-expression through movement. No class 4/1.

This joyful class introduces young dancers to movement, rhythm, and imagination through dance, music, and play. Children learn foundational ballet basics, along with other dance styles and movement. Private Guitar Lessons

This beginner-friendly flag football class introduces preschoolers to the fun of the game in a safe, non-contact way. Through exciting games and imaginative drills, little athletes will learn the basics of running, catching, passing and teamwork all while developing coordination and confidence.
Music Exploration
2:00-2:45 p.m.
This interactive class will expose students to different instruments in a fun atmosphere alongside their peers. Students will engage with instruments, singing, and movements to explore rhythm and melody.
Aftercare for Elementary School Students
Aftercare – Transition Care to Enrichment
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3:15-5:30 p.m.
If your child is enrolled in a 4:00 enrichment class, they also need to be enrolled in transitional after care, which starts at 3:15. They will be provided with a snack and escorted to their enrichment class. Free pickup is available from Gotlib Jewish Academy. Students will be supervised until pick up at 5:30.
Aftercare – Fridays Only from Gotlib Jewish Academy
Fridays, 3:15-5:30 p.m.
We will pick up your child from Gotlib Jewish Academy on Fridays, bring them to Shalom Orlando where we will provide a snack, and keep them until pick up at 5:30.
Volleyball Aftercare
Wednesdays, 3:15-6:00 p.m.
