FAQs

To help get you acclimated, here are some frequently asked questions about Jewish life in Central Florida:

  • Several years ago, The Roth Family JCC and the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando merged to become a single entity, Shalom Orlando. Both the J and the Federation now operate as part of the Shalom Orlando family, and their programs are all under one roof.

  • Yes! The Roth Family JCC is home to the Richard S. Adler Early Childhood Learning Center, an award-winning, Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool serving children eight weeks old through age 4. For grade school, the Gotlib Jewish Academy is located on the Shalom Orlando campus serving grades K through 5. The Orlando Torah Academy also serves grades pre-K through 8. Many local synagogues and Chabad programs also offer their own educational options.
