Shalom Orlando Welcomes Interim CEO Eric M. Robbins
As part of its planned leadership transition, Shalom Orlando is thrilled to announce the appointment of Eric M. Robbins as interim CEO. A nationally renowned Jewish executive, Eric brings to Shalom Orlando more than 30 years of leadership experience across Jewish Community Centers, Jewish Federations, inclusive camps, and other Jewish agencies. He will assume the interim CEO role on August 11 and will ensure Shalom Orlando continues to grow and thrive as the search for a permanent CEO progresses.
"I'm so excited to join this excellent team and help Shalom Orlando through this transition," says Eric, who most recently served as President and CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. He is a graduate of Georgia State University, Yeshiva University, and nonprofit leadership programs at both the Harvard Business School and Columbia Business School.
During his time at the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, Eric led more than $200 million in fundraising initiatives. He was named a Most Admired CEO by the Atlanta Business Chronicle multiple times and was the 2019 Georgia State University Alumni of the Year.
"Eric will bring stability and proven leadership to Shalom Orlando while helping the Board of Directors, the CEO Search Committee, and community stakeholders identify and recruit the best possible leader to take this incredible organization to new heights as Shalom Orlando's next Chief Executive," says Stan Rubins, Chair of the Shalom Orlando Board of Directors.
