Our Jewish 101 Adult Education Classes are taught by Rabbi Jackson and will be on the following Sundays from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM. A light nosh will be served.
Sunday January 26 - Shabbat (how to for all ages/households)
Sunday February 23 - Purim (PG-13 style)
Sunday March 30 - Purim (how to for all ages/households)
Sunday April 27 - Mitzvot (incorporating Judaism and values into your everyday life)
Each session is independent of each other. You can sign up for individual ones or sign up for all 4.

Temple Israel Sisterhood: Painting Class with Yaela
Paint-By-Numbers with Sisterhood 2025
We had a wonderful turnout earlier in 2024 and plan to have our second paint-by-numbers series in 2025! This event is open to anyone who can sit and paint for two hours (per session). Everyone ages 12 and up is welcome! You can attend any one or all sessions.
• Fee to attend is $5 per session for Sisterhood members; $10 per session for non-members.. Sessions are Sundays from 10am-12pm on: ◦ Session 1: January 26, 2025 ◦ Session 2: February 23, 2025 ◦ Session 3: March 30, 2025 ◦ Session 4: April 27, 2025 . Meeting location will be the Roth Social Hall or the Library (depending on turnout). . Please register at templeisraelevents.com • Purchase paint-by-number kits projects directly from Michaels or Amazon and bring them with you. • Storage of art works during the series will be provided. • Please note: if glasses or additional lighting are preferred, please plan to bring these items as they will not be provided.

Wise Aging Series at CRJ
Wise Aging: Learning to Live with Joy, Resilience, and Spirit
Come join us for a series of six interactive workshops to discover, through discussion and reflection, the power to prepare, to become stronger, more resilient, and to navigate the challenges of aging. Facilitated by Eloise Stiglitz, Frank Faine & Jean White.
Topics include: Relationships with family and friends, romance and sexuality, living with loss, cultivating well-being, shaping our legacy.
Workshops will be held on the following Sundays, from 10:30am - 12:00pm
(Light refreshments will be served)

Workshop topics are based the book, Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience, and Spirit, by Rabbi Rachel Cowen and Dr. Linda Thal. Reading the book is recommended, but not required for attendance.
